The text ‘He who is able to enjoy his memories lives twice’ in Latin and in Dutch. It originates with the Roman writer Martialis (40 – 130 A.D.). The lace patterns are from an inventory in the possession of the designer’s mother. Household utensils, smells in general, etc. recall very strong memories. Pearls symbolise patience, purity, love, fertility and peace.

The scarf is made of Crêpe de Chine silk and the dimensions are 33 x 150 cm.

The scarf comes in a luxury gift packaging, and unique card with short history about the design.
